Today’s run honors the life of SFC John Chada. SFC Chada was a two-time Vietnam veteran in which he served in both the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army. After his military career ended, SFC Chada served as an administrative assistant for the Department of Defense Information Management Support Center, housed at the Pentagon. SFC Chada was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and Moose Lodge 1380 in Manassas, Virginia. SFC Chada was two days short of his 56th birthday when he was killed in the Pentagon attack on 9/11.
