Please join the Wisconsin 9/11 Memorial & Education Center for our annual September 11th remembrance event. This year, the event will take place on Monday, September 11th, 2023 at 11:30 a.m.
The focus of this year’s event will be volunteerism and the important role of emergency medical services.
Guest speakers include:
Keynote Speaker: Martin Nystrom – Nystrom served as the President of the Maplewood NJ Volunteer First Aid Squad. He will share his experiences as a Ground Zero Search & Rescue Coordinator on September 11th, 2001 and the days following.
Catherine Pampel – Pampel is a veteran U.S. Navy Gunner’s Mate. She is currently a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician with the Village of Kewaskum, and a full-time EMT with Lifestar.
**NOTE TO RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES** — Fond du Lac Ave. will be closed between Main St. and 2nd St. during the event.
If we experience inclement weather, the event will be held inside the Kewaskum Municipal Annex Building directly to the east of the Memorial.
